Senior Test Automation Engineer – Selenium & Python

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks for web applications. The role focuses on Selenium‑based automation using Python and Java, supporting our Agile delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable Selenium automation frameworks.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts in Python and Java.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and QA leads to define test strategies.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Analyze defects, track their lifecycle and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5–15 years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in test automation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions and work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
