About the role

We are looking for a remote Physics Educator to join our team on a short‑term contract. You will work closely with large‑language‑model (LLM) researchers to design, solve, and document challenging physics problems that serve as evaluation benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

Design and solve advanced physics problems for LLM evaluation.
Create clear, step‑by‑step solutions with detailed reasoning.
Collaborate with LLM researchers to develop new undergraduate‑to‑PhD‑level benchmarks.
Analyze complex physics scenarios using a logical, structured approach.
Explain physics concepts in simple language, supported by visuals and reasoning.

Required profile

Master’s, Ph.D., or currently pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
Strong research and analytical abilities.
Creative and lateral thinking.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.

Required skills

Proficiency in at least three of the following tools: QuTiP, OQuPy, QuSpin, TenPy, Strawberry Fields, openEMS, ngspice, Quantum ESPRESSO, OpenFOAM, FEniCS/FEniCSx (DOLFINx), WarpX, REBOUND, PYTHIA, Kwant, Elmer FEM, GF180MCU PDK, Sky130 PDK, FreeCAD, Project Chrono, Scilab Xcos, volare, emcee, Icarus Verilog, GTKWave, Verilator, gmsh, Elmer, pyarmadillo, MeshLab.

What we offer

Compensation of $450 per approved task.
8‑hour workday with a 4‑hour overlap with PST.
11‑week contract with immediate start.
Fully remote work arrangement.
