Program Manager – Academic Operations

About the role

The Program Manager at NIAT leads the execution of on‑campus academic programs, ensuring smooth coordination of classes, labs, assessments and events. Reporting to Senior Program Leadership, the role blends operational ownership with a student‑centric focus to drive high‑impact learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day execution of classes, labs, assessments and campus events in line with the academic calendar.
• Coordinate with academic mentors, BOAs and internal teams to maintain consistent operational flow across student batches.
• Partner with academic and student success teams to monitor progress, intervene with at‑risk learners and resolve student issues.
• Monitor classroom quality, mentor effectiveness and student engagement, gathering feedback to improve teaching methods.
• Lead campus initiatives such as community events, branding activities and academic showcases.
• Collaborate with placement and training teams to run workshops, mock interviews and skill‑building sessions, and maintain industry and alumni relationships.
• Maintain accurate reports, dashboards and trackers on academic performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree a plus).
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to manage operations in a fast‑paced environment.
• Problem‑solving, decision‑making and data‑driven mindset.
• Adaptability, resilience and a student‑centric attitude.
