Legal Counsel (SaaS Agreements)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing startup to find a Legal Counsel who will focus on SaaS contracts. The role involves providing legal guidance on software‑as‑a‑service agreements and supporting the business as it scales. You will work closely with product, sales, and compliance teams to ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS agreements, including subscription, licensing, and service level contracts.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal implications of product features and pricing models.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, and industry‑specific regulations.
• Support dispute resolution and manage contract lifecycle from inception to renewal.
• Maintain a repository of standard contract templates and track contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Post‑qualification experience (PQE) of 1‑2 years in a law firm or in‑house legal team.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements.
• Qualified lawyer with a degree in law (LL.B, J.D., or equivalent).
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
