Lead Product Manager - Technical (Agentic AI)

About the role

Mastercard’s Services Business is seeking a Lead Product Manager – Technical to drive the AI and agentic capabilities of its Payment Performance Intelligence program. The role sits within the Business & Markets Insights organisation and will shape product strategy, roadmap and architecture for next‑generation AI‑powered solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, platform engineers and business stakeholders to bring innovative generative AI chatbot use cases to market.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for AI and agentic capabilities across the Payment Performance Intelligence portfolio.
• Translate deep customer insights into AI‑driven products and solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Collaborate with data scientists to define and develop generative AI chatbot use cases and agentic services.
• Partner with the Platform team to define long‑term product architecture and ensure efficient development execution.
• Align product priorities with broader strategic objectives and manage the product backlog.
• Define technical requirements and specifications for AI features.
• Monitor product performance metrics and iterate based on data‑driven insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technology‑focused product manager delivering complex AI or data‑intensive products.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with data science, engineering and platform teams.
• Excellent understanding of customer needs within the payments and financial services domain.
• Strategic mindset with the capability to balance long‑term vision and short‑term delivery constraints.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product visions.
