About the role

Lead the Data Science team at Finicity, a Mastercard company, driving innovative machine‑learning solutions that improve financial health for consumers and businesses. You will shape strategy, mentor talent and deliver production‑grade models across a range of financial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, lead, mentor and grow a team of data scientists focused on building production‑grade services.
• Plan and direct machine‑learning projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Design, implement and deploy ML models for transaction classification, temporal analysis, risk modeling and other financial use cases.
• Measure, validate, monitor and continuously improve model performance.
• Propose creative, data‑driven solutions to novel challenges in the financial industry.
• Present technical findings clearly to internal leaders and external clients.
• Apply best practices in machine learning and data engineering to develop scalable solutions.
• Identify resource gaps and recommend sustainable improvements.
