Engineering Director

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Director to lead our regional engineering organisation. You will guide a group of engineering managers and their teams in delivering, customizing and extending our product for customers, with a strong focus on AI‑driven automation and agentic workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Set regional engineering direction, translating global technical standards into actionable execution and integrating AI and agentic workflows.
• Partner with technical leadership, governance and architecture peers to align engineering practices with the broader technical strategy.
• Own engineering excellence across the region by defining quality, velocity and delivery standards and ensuring they are operationalised by managers.
• Lead by example, staying hands‑on with the stack to solve complex customer issues, integration challenges and prototype new solution patterns.
• Champion the rollout of the agentic engineering operating model, enabling managers and engineers with new tools, patterns and continuous improvement feedback.
• Develop the next layer of leadership by mentoring managers and senior engineers to increase organisational capability.

Required profile

• Deep technical background with a career rooted in hands‑on development and architecture.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including proven ability to lead through other leaders (managers, tech leads, staff engineers).
• Pragmatic operator who upholds high engineering quality while eliminating wasteful processes.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to work as an equal partner with delivery and technical leadership.
