Electrical Engineer – Plant & Machinery Maintenance

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation, safety and maintenance of plant and machinery at a construction site. The role involves planning, executing and documenting preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities for construction and concreting equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance on plant and machinery.
• Ensure safety, proper operation and documentation of all equipment.
• Support site Plant & Machinery engineers in daily activities.
• Plan and monitor day‑to‑day operations, manage spare parts inventory and update MIS reports.
• Coordinate with the Site P&M In‑charge to ensure optimal equipment functioning.

Required profile

• Knowledge of preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance techniques.
• Experience with basic maintenance of plant and machinery, especially construction and concreting equipment.
• Proven ability to plan, monitor and report maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with documentation and MIS reporting for plant operations.
