dSPACE HiL Test Engineer - Powertrain ICE

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking a dSPACE HiL Test Engineer to support powertrain ICE projects. The role involves designing, executing and analysing hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HiL) test campaigns for automotive ECUs, ensuring functional verification and validation of powertrain software.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure the HiL environment, including HIL integration, ECU flashing, parameter updates and test‑measurement setup.
• Develop and maintain ECU test scripts using trace Tronics and related tools.
• Execute HiL test campaigns, diagnose failures, identify root causes and produce detailed reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Maintain test documentation and adhere to automotive test processes and methodologies.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in automotive verification and validation, preferably with powertrain ICE systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an Agile environment using JIRA.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
