Design Engineer EPS

About the role

Quest Global is seeking a Design Engineer specialized in EPS to support product design, manufacturing concessions, and engineering change requests. The role involves ensuring design integrity, resolving production issues, and contributing to new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and sign‑off designs for Quality Notifications, VMRRs and PRIDS, ensuring fit, form and function compliance.
• Support manufacturing concessions and engineering change requests.
• Review production non‑conformances and validate MRB repair dispositions.
• Provide defect mapping and composite ply stack‑ups for MRB and stress analysis.
• Develop optimized product designs by challenging existing concepts and proposing innovative ideas.
• Resolve production and in‑service design issues and support sustenance, NPI and value‑engineering activities.
• Select appropriate standard hardware based on application requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace or Aeronautics.
• Minimum 2 + years experience in mechanical structures design and development.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals, decision‑making and critical thinking.
• Ability to understand and meet customer expectations.

Required skills

• Design principles, GD&T and MBD creation.
• Material and fastener selection.
• Composite design and ply stack‑up mapping.
• Catia V5 / Enovia (or similar CAD software).
• Teamcenter PLM and SAP.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with CPD/fibersim workbenches and MRB processes.
