Deputy Manager – Accounts Receivable

About the role

Exide Energy Solutions Ltd is seeking a dynamic Deputy Manager to lead its Accounts Receivable function at the Devanahalli plant in Bangalore. The role involves managing end‑to‑end AR processes, supporting cash flow, and ensuring compliance within a fast‑growing lithium‑ion battery manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor customer accounts in SAP S/4HANA (FI‑AR), including posting and reconciliation.
• Track receivables, generate aging reports (e.g., FBL5N) and perform periodic ledger reconciliations.
• Proactively follow up with customers, share statements, resolve queries, and coordinate with sales for collection support.
• Post and allocate incoming receipts (RTGS/NEFT/Cheques) using SAP transactions (F‑28, F‑32) and manage short payments and deductions.
• Monitor credit limits, block/unblock customers, and recommend actions for high‑risk accounts.
• Prepare AR aging, DSO analysis, collection dashboards and MIS reports directly from SAP.
• Execute month‑end closing activities, reconcile AR sub‑ledger with GL, and support doubtful debt provisioning.
• Maintain audit trails, support internal and statutory audits, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Required profile

• B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter or MBA (Finance) qualification.
• 3–7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA FI‑AR module.
• Understanding of GST impact on receivables.
