Cylinder Filling Operator – Industrial Gas Plant

About the role

We are looking for a safety‑oriented Cylinder Filling Operator to join our gas manufacturing plant in Greater Noida. The role involves filling, handling, inspecting and moving industrial and specialty gas cylinders while strictly following operational and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate cylinder filling manifolds and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Fill industrial and specialty gas cylinders according to production requirements and SOPs.
• Inspect cylinders before filling – check valve condition, leakage, hydro‑test validity and markings.
• Ensure correct gas pressure and accurate filling quantity.
• Perform leak testing and basic quality checks after each filling operation.
• Handle loading, unloading, segregation and movement of cylinders within the plant.
• Maintain daily production and cylinder‑filling records.
• Follow plant safety norms, use PPE and report any equipment issues, gas leaks or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the filling area.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

Required profile

• Safety‑conscious and disciplined individual.
• Physically fit for plant operations.
• Team player with good coordination skills.
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in industrial gas, oxygen, nitrogen or specialty‑gas plants.
• Preferably experienced with gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, CO₂, Hydrogen.
• ITI/Diploma/12th Pass preferred; technical background in Mechanical or Production is an advantage.

Required skills

• Industrial gas cylinder handling and filling operations.
• Operation of pressure gauges, valves, manifolds and compressors.
• Leak testing procedures.
• Basic documentation and record‑keeping.

• Salary range ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month.
