Customer Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The role focuses on supporting the Chromeleon enterprise Chromatography Data System (CDS) and includes on‑site visits to customers across India and the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy Chromeleon CDS software on various client‑server network architectures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software, network, and system issues to minimise downtime.
• Provide on‑site support and handle customer escalations, maintaining KPI targets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement maintenance solutions.
• Travel on short notice for short‑ or long‑term projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT/E&TC/CS/Instrumentation), BCA, MCA or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Chromeleon CDS or a comparable enterprise CDS.
• Understanding of pharma compliance and regulatory audits (USFDA, EDQM, ANVISA, EU).
• Familiarity with chromatography instruments such as HPLC, GC and MS.
