Customer Onboarding Strategist, Acquisitions

About the role

Google is looking for a Customer Onboarding Strategist to guide new small‑ and medium‑sized business customers through their digital advertising journey. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring a smooth transition onto Google’s advertising platforms and helping clients achieve their growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of newly acquired customers and set them up for long‑term success.
• Deliver an outstanding onboarding experience while meeting assigned customer goals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Program teams to ensure seamless handovers.
• Proactively reach out to customers via phone, chat, and email to drive onboarding, upselling and cross‑selling of Google solutions.
• Provide strategic, consultative advice to maximize advertisers’ return on investment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales.
• Ability to travel for client meetings and training as needed.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a business‑related field and 2 years of experience in sales or consulting.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
