About the role

The Assistant Manager – Risk Containment Unit will lead the central fraud‑loss mitigation function for Bajaj Finance in Latur. You will own the end‑to‑end RCU process, ensure high‑quality investigations, and drive continuous improvement to protect the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Minimise fraud losses by managing the central RCU shop and achieving 100% VDR compliance.
• Lead field fraud‑management processes, ensuring case closure within defined TAT and high‑quality investigation reports.
• Review and track location visits by RCU managers and support field teams with triggers from central monitoring.
• Drive continuous improvement of RCU processes, automation projects, and dashboard accuracy.
• Propose location‑specific credit‑policy changes and ensure timely reporting of suspected fraud before loan disbursal.
• Identify fraud trends, implement corrective measures, and collaborate with Operations, Collections, and Sales to reduce overall fraud loss.
• Maintain strong employee engagement and motivation within the RCU team.

Required profile

• Graduation degree.
• 4‑6 years of relevant experience in fraud management, risk containment, or related finance functions.
