Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Portfolio Management

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager to lead portfolio management for our automotive electronics manufacturing plant in Bengaluru. You will act as a bridge between sales, product teams and the plant, ensuring new projects are feasible, cost‑effective and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with sales, product teams and customers to capture project requirements.
• Organise kickoff meetings to communicate requirements to the plant team.
• Conduct plant feasibility analyses and coordinate with CTG for quote preparation.
• Present findings to management and support strategic initiatives to identify new product opportunities.
• Provide project information to management and ensure customer timelines are met.
• Drive lead‑time reduction for EVOB processes and communicate plant capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in manufacturing support functions or project management.
• B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; MBA preferred.
• Ability to set milestones, manage conflicting demands and drive teams toward stretch targets.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of PJM (project management) concepts.
• Understanding of costing principles.
