About the role

The Assistant Cook will support the kitchen team in preparing nutritious meals for students and staff. This position works within an educational environment, ensuring that all food is prepared safely and meets dietary requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to set menus and specific dietary needs.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and keep accurate records of food stocks and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cook in an educational or institutional setting.
• Food safety certification is a plus.
