Assembly Technician (ITI) – EV Chargers – Bengaluru

About the role

We are a fast‑growing EV charger startup in Bengaluru seeking motivated Assembly Technicians with an ITI background. The role offers hands‑on experience on the production floor, covering mechanical, electrical and electronic assembly of electric‑vehicle charging stations.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical enclosures, brackets, panels and sub‑assemblies following visual SOPs and pictorial instructions.
• Use calibrated torque wrenches and power screwdrivers to apply correct fastener torque values.
• Perform fitment checks on sheet‑metal enclosures, cable entry points and hardware installations, reporting any deviations.
• Install cable‑management hardware such as trays, glands, bushings and strain‑relief fittings.
• Route and dress wiring harnesses, crimp ferrules and pin terminals, label and sleeve cables according to BOM.
• Observe high‑voltage safety, LOTO procedures and proper PPE usage.
• Handle PCBs, control modules and DIN‑rail components, mount them on chassis, and conduct visual inspections for damage or missing parts while maintaining ESD discipline.
• Assist in re‑work and repair tasks, using a digital multimeter for continuity and voltage checks.

Required profile

• Completed ITI in Electrician, Mechanical, Fitter or Electronic Mechanic from a recognised board.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience or recent graduate.
• Proficiency in English or Hindi.
• Willingness to work onsite in Bengaluru and attend face‑to‑face interviews.

Required skills

• Mechanical assembly and use of torque wrenches.
• Electrical wiring, harness routing and crimping.
• PCB handling, mounting and visual inspection.
• Use of digital multimeter for basic tests.
• Understanding of HV safety, LOTO and PPE.
• ESD control on the production floor.
