About the role
The Area Sales Manager will lead sales and business growth for a designated city/branch in partnership with the Regional Head (Sales). The role focuses on achieving targets, ensuring compliance with sales processes, and collaborating with Risk, Operations, and Sales Governance teams to maintain portfolio health.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute area sales strategies to meet or exceed set targets.
- Coordinate with the Regional Head (Sales) and obtain joint approvals as per the approval matrix.
- Work closely with Risk, Operations, and Sales Governance teams to ensure portfolio health and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and address under‑performance, implement process improvements, and capitalize on channel optimization opportunities.
- Provide hands‑on support to team members on complex cases and intervene in specific exceptions.
- Drive cross‑selling of ABHFL and ABFSG products/solutions according to regional plans and client needs.
Required profile
- Proven experience in managing sales teams and driving business growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams including Risk and Operations.
- Strong understanding of housing finance products and market dynamics.
