Advanced Tax Analyst – VAT

About the role

EY is looking for an Advanced Tax Analyst specializing in VAT within its Global Delivery Services (GDS) Indirect Tax Center. The role supports multi‑country clients by preparing and filing indirect tax returns and contributing to the continuous improvement of tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file indirect tax (VAT) returns using country‑specific filing tools.
• Apply basic tax concepts and stay updated on tax developments through client assignments.
• Work on multiple tax projects simultaneously and cross‑train across sub‑functions.
• Identify and propose process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Deliver high‑quality, timely tax services while adhering to EY compliance procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Commerce.
• 0‑2 years of experience in accounting or tax.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, global team.
• Interest in serving multi‑country clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems.
• Experience with tax filing software or country‑specific filing tools.
