Vertical Security Head

About the role

The Vertical Security Head will lead the security function for a specific business vertical within Adani Green Energy Limited. Reporting to the Cluster and Regional Security Heads, the role ensures the protection of personnel, assets, and operations while aligning with the Group’s overall security strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the security strategy in line with Group security guidelines and business requirements for the assigned vertical.
• Drive execution of security initiatives tailored to the vertical’s unique needs, collaborating with the CEO, GCSO, heads of departments and other stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of security awareness and operational excellence across the vertical.
• Conduct security performance assessments and manage incidents to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and legal requirements, safeguarding organizational assets and continuity of operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading security functions within a large organization.
• Strong understanding of security strategy implementation and risk mitigation.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and legal compliance.
