Supervisor, Global Security Operations Center

About the role

Google is looking for an experienced security professional to lead a shift in its Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). You will work closely with Facilities Management and other Googlers to design security strategies, investigate incidents, and develop risk‑assessment plans while maintaining a strong focus on customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a GSOC shift, coordinating with other teams to improve overall effectiveness.
• Assist in creating and refining GSOC processes and standard operating procedures.
• Lead incident response and crisis management during the shift, handling smaller incidents directly and supporting larger emergencies.
• Ensure quality control of shift outputs, including reports, verbal briefings, and customer‑service standards.
• Maintain the shift schedule and guarantee adequate coverage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in law enforcement, intelligence, military, or comparable private‑sector security roles.
• Fluency in English and Hindi for interaction with local stakeholders.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and diplomatic skills for handling confidential information.
• Ability to build cross‑functional relationships and make critical decisions.
