Senior Mechanical Engineer – Robotic Cleaning Product Development

About the role

The Senior Engineer, Product Development (Robotic cleaning) will work from Hyderabad reporting to the Manager – Product Engineering and Sustaining. You will lead the development of robotic cleaning products from concept through to production release, ensuring design quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Drive projects from conceptualization to start of production, capturing design requirements and validation plans.
• Manage all design activities including RFQs, design freeze/release, DFMEA, PPAP, design verification and product validation testing.
• Perform FEA/CAE analyses and create manufacturing drawings for prototypes and production parts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing to ensure design for manufacture (DFM) and resolve engineering concerns.
• Review quality documents such as PPAP and FAI reports and support manufacturers on engineering issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 6 + years of mechanical engineering experience, especially in plastic component design.
• Proven track record leading product development of injection‑molded, vacuum‑formed, and low‑pressure injection molded parts.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
