Security & Loss Prevention Specialist (SLP)

About the role

Amazon is seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Security & Loss Prevention (SLP) Specialist to protect its operational sites and ensure business continuity across the supply chain. You will act as the primary security liaison, delivering security‑as‑a‑service to multiple sites within a defined geographic area.

Key responsibilities

• Support business resilience by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for assigned sites.
• Identify security vulnerabilities, loss risks, and associate experience gaps; define and implement mitigating actions.
• Coordinate risk management with local management, law‑enforcement agencies, and external security partners.
• Ensure compliance with Amazon global security standards through regular audits and monitoring.
• Investigate policy violations, security incidents, and loss events by analyzing system data, reports, and conducting interviews.
• Maintain the health and functionality of physical security systems in partnership with subject‑matter experts and suppliers.
• Deliver loss‑prevention education and awareness programs to internal teams.

• Experience in security, loss prevention, or related risk‑management functions.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders, external partners, and law‑enforcement agencies.
