On‑Site IT Support Engineer

About the role

The On‑Site IT Support Engineer will be based at our Sanand office and will provide hands‑on technical support for all on‑site IT infrastructure and end‑user devices. You will act as the local "remote hands" to resolve issues, manage hardware lifecycle, and ensure smooth operation of technology during daily activities and corporate events.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and decommission laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, printers and other peripherals.
• Provide on‑site IT and AV support for corporate events, including video‑conferencing and telephony systems.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding of end‑user devices, handling distribution, setup and collection.
• Support site‑specific technology such as digital signage, lab equipment and specialised systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of servers, UPS units and other infrastructure.
• Collaborate with central IT teams and managed service providers for issue resolution.
• Document installations, decommissions and issue resolutions following asset‑management processes.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and policy requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications are highly desirable; ITIL Foundation is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in IT support with a focus on on‑site office environments.
• Proven experience supporting corporate events and video‑conferencing/telephony equipment.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and hardware lifecycle management.
