Medical Coding – Fresh Biomedical Graduates (0-1 yr)

About the role

This position is open to fresh B.Tech or M.Tech biomedical graduates who have strong English communication skills. You will work on medical coding and utilization management reviews for healthcare plans and workers‑compensation products, ensuring compliance with regulatory timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to URAC and internal utilization management (UM) time‑frames.
• Review medical records, provide concise recommendations, and identify missing documentation.
• Track the status of all UM reviews and follow up on pending cases.
• Respond to inbound calls related to medical reviews, following established protocols.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement UM programs.
• Maintain compliance with Department of Labor, state, and company requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (B.Tech, B.E, BDS, B.Pharma, B.Sc, BVSc, etc.) in a life‑science or related field.
• 0–1 year of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
