In-Stock Manager, Project Tez

About the role

Amazon is looking for a dedicated In‑Stock Manager to lead inventory strategy for Project Tez. The role focuses on driving high in‑stock rates, optimizing sales, margin and inventory turns while collaborating with retail and operations partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain excellent in‑stock rates for the assigned category or region.
• Execute inventory strategies to improve sales, turns and overall inventory health.
• Monitor, analyze and own KPIs such as in‑stock rate, procurement lead time, fill rate, forecast accuracy and days of cover.
• Forecast and manage inbound and outbound inventory flows, including purchasing and removal of unproductive stock.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of operational issues, develop action plans and manage multiple improvement projects.
• Partner with internal teams to drive tool and process enhancements, emphasizing automation of manual tasks.

Required skills
