Engineer - New Product Development

About the role

The Engineer – New Product Development will lead the creation and enhancement of architectural aluminium façade systems. Based in Bangalore, you will work closely with design, production and marketing teams to bring innovative products to market.

Key responsibilities

• Design new aluminium façade products and customise existing solutions to meet client requirements.
• Conduct product improvement studies, prototype testing and performance validation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications and CAD drawings.
• Support the launch of new products, including pilot production and field trials.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural products or aluminium façade systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (MBA in Marketing is a plus).
• Proven ability to design and customise products for the construction sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
