Cyber Security Professional – URL & Vulnerability Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Professional to lead URL scanning and vulnerability assessment activities for third‑party payroll systems. The role focuses on detecting malicious URLs, analysing system weaknesses and supporting remediation to protect the organisation’s digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure tools to analyse URLs, portals and software, implementing categorisation and reputation checks using threat‑intelligence feeds.
• Investigate blocked or suspicious URLs, determine legitimacy and take appropriate actions such as blocking or user education.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans of URLs, portals and applications with tools like Nessus, Qualys or Rapid7.
• Analyse scan results, prioritise findings based on risk and business impact, and coordinate remediation with IT and development teams.
• Document findings, produce regular reports on vulnerability status and emerging threats, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance and business units to embed security controls into operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in URL threat analysis or vulnerability management.
• Strong analytical skills to assess malicious content and security weaknesses.
• Ability to work on‑site in Navi Mumbai on a general shift schedule.

Required skills

• URL categorisation and reputation checking (safe browsing, threat‑intelligence feeds).
• Vulnerability scanning tools: Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7.
