Windows Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Windows Administrator to manage and support our Windows server environment across production and non‑production systems. The role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance of Windows infrastructure while collaborating with application, network, and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Windows servers, services, and roles.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, proactively resolving issues.
• Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and security policies.
• Perform regular patching, updates, and maintenance in line with change management.
• Implement and maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot OS, hardware, and network‑related incidents, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and configuration records.
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams for deployments and changes.
• Apply ITIL‑aligned practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve reliability.

Required profile

• B.Tech degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience as a Windows Administrator or similar role.
• Strong expertise in installing, configuring, and managing Windows Server operating systems.
• Proven experience with user and access management, system monitoring, and basic security hardening.
• Ability to perform system updates, patching, and routine maintenance.
• Effective troubleshooting of Windows OS and basic network connectivity issues.
