Technical Recruiter – Engineering & AI/ML (Bangalore)

About the role

Autodesk is seeking a Technical Recruiter to lead full‑cycle hiring for engineering, AI/ML, data, product, infrastructure, design and security teams in Bangalore. You will partner closely with hiring managers to shape hiring strategies that align with business goals and the local talent market.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for technical positions across multiple disciplines.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview plans and hiring strategies.
• Leverage recruiting data, funnel metrics and market insights to set realistic expectations and mitigate hiring risks.
• Design and execute targeted sourcing strategies beyond LinkedIn, including referrals, technical communities, events and niche platforms.
• Conduct structured candidate assessments and provide evidence‑based hiring recommendations.
• Ensure a consistent, timely and respectful candidate experience throughout the process.
• Support offer development, clearly communicating compensation, equity and benefits.
• Contribute to talent acquisition strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of recruiting experience in a product‑focused environment, specializing in technical hiring.
• Proven success hiring software engineers and other technical talent in competitive markets.
• Experience engaging and closing passive candidates.
• Ability to use recruiting metrics and market insights to influence hiring decisions.
• Strong partnership skills with engineering leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
