Team Leader Operations – Darkstore

About the role

Purplle’s Quick Commerce platform relies on a network of dark stores to deliver beauty and personal care products swiftly. As a Team Leader Operations – Darkstore, you will oversee end‑to‑end store activities, ensure service level adherence, and lead a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch of orders according to defined SLAs.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards within the dark store.
• Plan manpower, allocate shifts, and prepare duty rosters.
• Conduct daily team huddles and coordinate staff activities.
• Perform daily inventory audits and uphold stock accuracy.
• Monitor stock movement to guarantee product availability.
• Optimize store space utilization for operational efficiency.
• Enforce compliance with safety protocols, SOPs, and operational standards.
• Share daily performance reports and updates with management.
• Collaborate with logistics, HR, and operations teams for seamless execution.
• Handle escalations related to manpower, dispatch delays, and store discipline.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Operations, Logistics, Retail Management).
• 1–3 years of experience in dark store, warehouse, retail, or e‑commerce operations.
• Strong team handling and leadership abilities.
• Good problem‑solving and process adherence capabilities.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management System (WMS) – preferred.
