Team Lead, Sort Center

About the role

Amazon is seeking a proactive, customer‑obsessed Team Lead to manage day and night shifts at a Sort Center. You will drive operational excellence, ensure smooth flow of information across stakeholders, and continuously improve processes that impact the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily floor operations for day and night shifts, ensuring SOP compliance and metric monitoring.
• Identify performance improvement opportunities, develop change‑management plans, and execute them.
• Use performance metrics and data analysis to make informed decisions and resolve issues.
• Communicate with external partners (carriers, vendors) and internal teams (Finance, Ops Excellence, Fulfillment Centers).
• Escalate variances, track resolutions, and maintain accurate reporting.
• Define and execute transportation processes from fulfillment centers to customers.
• Hire, train, and develop a motivated workforce in collaboration with HR and training teams.
• Coordinate with Finance, Customer Service, and Projects teams on Sort Center operations.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to propose and drive process improvements to completion.
• 1+ years of experience in a customer‑facing, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing role.
• Bachelor’s degree.
