Team Coach – System Simulation for Exhaust Treatment

About the role

We are looking for a Team Coach to lead the system simulation activities for exhaust gas treatment (EGT) projects at Bosch’s Bangalore development centre. The role combines technical leadership, requirement engineering and digitalisation to deliver robust simulation‑based solutions for customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and coach the simulation team in defining EGT subsystems, sensors and demonstration projects.
• Drive digitalisation initiatives that create new business solutions around exhaust treatment.
• Lead requirement‑engineering efforts and manage technical interfaces with customer project teams and EGT partners.
• Conduct workshops with partners to evaluate technology performance and ensure robust system integration.
• Initiate and monitor ideation sessions, set timelines, milestones and coordinate cross‑functional teams for implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Thermal, Aerospace, Chemical, Automotive, Mechanical engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8‑10 years of experience in system engineering, function development, emission development, catalyst work, CFD, CHD and 1D simulations.
• Strong knowledge of at least two simulation domains such as airflow, thermal, multiphase, combustion or chemical kinetics.
• Familiarity with emission legislation and exhaust‑gas requirements.
