Staff Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join Apollo Hospitals, a leading healthcare provider in India. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients across various departments, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the multidisciplinary team in delivering patient‑centred services.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical history, symptoms and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists and support staff to plan and implement patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and nursing assessments.
• Monitor patient health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• First division in 10th, 12th and graduation.
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle stressful situations.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency in operating standard medical equipment.
