Staff Foreman – Mining Operations

About the role

The Staff Foreman oversees daily mining activities to ensure the timely supply of limestone that meets plant quality and quantity requirements. This on‑site supervisory position coordinates excavation, transport, crushing, and overburden removal operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute limestone supply tasks, including excavation, transporting, and crushing to meet plant demand.
• Manage mine development activities such as creating faces/blocks, maintaining haul roads and benches in line with the Mine Plan and statutory regulations.
• Monitor productivity and take corrective actions to optimise mining and crushing costs.
• Coordinate overburden removal to prepare the surface for drilling and blasting according to the mining plan.
