Staff CloudOps Engineer – Azure

About the role

EY is seeking a Staff CloudOps Engineer with 3‑4 years of hands‑on experience in Azure environments. You will support DevOps practices, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and help automate cloud infrastructure across a global platform.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve infrastructure and DevOps incidents and service requests.
• Support and monitor CI/CD pipeline operations and automation workflows.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, ARM templates and Biceps.
• Monitor platform health with Azure Monitor and related observability tools.
• Collaborate with CloudOps and DevOps teams to troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs and automation scripts.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps or cloud infrastructure projects.
• Hands‑on experience building, deploying and supporting Azure solutions.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift‑based support environment.
• Relevant Azure certification (Associate level preferred).

Required skills

• Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking).
• Terraform, ARM templates, Biceps.
• Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), Helm.
• Bash scripting (Python a plus).
• Azure Monitor, Datadog, Splunk, OpenTelemetry.
• ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool.
• RBAC, VNet, load balancers, security groups.
