Software Engineer – Employee Experience & HR

About the role

Join Microsoft’s Employee Experience & HR (EE‑HR) organization to build AI‑enabled, consumer‑grade solutions that transform the employee journey from hire‑to‑retire. You will work at the intersection of HR, data, and cutting‑edge AI to deliver scalable, secure platforms that empower employees and managers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement microservice‑based, event‑driven, cloud‑native solutions on Azure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, embedding AI/ML, LLMs and agentic AI for predictive diagnostics and self‑healing pipelines.
• Create reusable frameworks, components and accelerators to accelerate development and improve quality.
• Apply best practices in infrastructure‑as‑code, observability, and debugging to ensure resilient software delivery.
• Leverage large language models, copilots and autonomous agents to automate workflows and boost engineering productivity.
• Rapidly prototype and deliver proof‑of‑concepts for generative AI and autonomous agents.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and HR teams to build AI‑powered employee experience solutions.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in software development and modern data engineering practices.
• Passion for AI, large language models and responsible AI implementation.
• Experience delivering scalable, secure cloud solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
