Software Development Engineer II – Salesforce

About the role

Godrej Capital is looking for a Software Development Engineer II to design, configure and customize Salesforce solutions that meet client expectations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and external clients, ensuring high‑quality delivery and continuous improvement of business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of workstreams, meeting engagement objectives and quality standards.
• Develop solutions using Salesforce configuration, customization, and Lightning features.
• Identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues when necessary.
• Improve efficiency of key processes and contribute to sector knowledge initiatives.
• Apply global trends and emerging technologies to enhance client recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑6 years of professional experience with Salesforce implementations.
• Hands‑on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, Marketing Cloud or Industry Clouds.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑member teams and manage client relationships.
• Strong project discipline, organized, and focused on delivery dates.
• Experience preparing requirement documents, system design, test plans and training manuals.
