Social Media Manager – Short‑Form Video & Strategy

About the role

We are looking for a sharp, confident, and creative Social Media Manager to drive our short‑form video and Instagram strategy. The role sits at the intersection of video production, content creation, and data‑driven social media planning, supporting Turbostart’s global startup ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, produce and publish short‑form video content (Reels, Stories, behind‑the‑scenes) aligned with the overall content strategy.
• Own and manage the Instagram content calendar, including content direction, posting schedule, captions and hashtags.
• Develop strategic concepts for campaigns, challenges and viral content formats.
• Monitor social trends and cultural moments, using AI tools to act quickly and stay ahead of the curve.
• Guide the repurposing of event footage into platform‑optimized clips to maximise reach and engagement.
• Track performance metrics (views, saves, shares), derive insights and continuously refine the strategy.

Required profile

• Strong grasp of social media strategy, platform dynamics and Instagram content formats.
• Deeply plugged into current trends and able to turn them into strategic opportunities.
• Comfortable using AI tools for ideation, planning and analysis.
• Data‑driven decision‑making, confident, open to feedback and self‑driven.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience or a strong portfolio of work.
