Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor will oversee daily construction activities on civil engineering projects, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety regulations. This role coordinates manpower, monitors progress and supports the Site Manager and Site Engineer to achieve timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and monitor work progress.
• Ensure construction is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors and workers for smooth execution.
• Monitor manpower deployment and productivity on site.
• Maintain adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
• Verify materials received and ensure proper utilization.
• Maintain daily site records, progress reports and work logs.
• Monitor safety compliance and enforce safety procedures.
• Assist in measurement verification and quantity tracking.
• Report site issues, delays and resource needs to the Site Engineer or Site Manager.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers as required.
• Support timely completion of project activities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in civil construction site supervision.
• Experience monitoring construction activities and managing workforce.
• Knowledge of construction practices, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Preferred experience in infrastructure, building, road, bridge or slope‑stabilisation projects.
