Senior Specialist – Product Management (Network Products)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist in Product Management to drive the commercial and strategic evolution of its global network access platforms, focusing on Edge Connectivity (Cloud, Co‑Lo, On‑Prem). The role blends product strategy, financial analysis, and executive communication, partnering with product, technology, finance, and regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support Network Products strategy by applying AI‑driven insights to improve decisions, efficiency, and innovation.
• Perform financial and commercial analysis to evaluate product evolution and platform transition scenarios.
• Assess revenue opportunities, cost structures, and potential cannibalisation risks.
• Contribute to business cases, long‑term portfolio planning, and leadership decision materials.
• Analyze customer behaviour, usage trends, and regional adoption drivers.
• Support commercialisation planning, including packaging, pricing, and transition strategies.
• Build Excel‑based financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to quantify business impact.
• Support vendor economics analysis, including contracts, license utilisation, and cost tracking.
• Assist with platform transition, modernisation impact analysis, and transition readiness planning.
• Develop executive‑ready presentations and translate complex analysis into clear business narratives.
• Partner with product, technology, finance, and regional teams to ensure cross‑functional alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
• 6‑10 years of experience in cloud connectivity, network management, payments, or enterprise platforms.
• Experience supporting product strategy, commercialisation, or portfolio analysis.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional product and technology teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling, scenario analysis and data analysis.
• Strong PowerPoint abilities for creating executive‑ready presentations.
• Experience with AI‑driven insights and analytics.
• Knowledge of cloud connectivity and network management concepts.
• Financial modelling and data analysis expertise.
