Senior Software Engineer - Automation Testing & Java Coding

About the role

Join Mastercard's Operations & Technology Fraud Products team to design and deliver automated testing solutions for the Decision Management Platform, a high‑performance Java‑based system that processes billions of transactions each month.

Key responsibilities

• Provide test engineering services including regression testing, code quality analysis, environment automation and continuous integration.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for web services, UI, APIs and integration points using BDD/TDD frameworks.
• Integrate test automation with CI pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo) and code‑coverage tools (Sonar, Clover).
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure high‑quality releases across multiple environments.

Required profile

• 6‑9 years of experience in automation testing with strong Java development background.
• Proficiency with JUnit, JBehave or Cucumber and experience in regression and acceptance testing.
• Hands‑on experience testing web services, REST/SOAP APIs and web UI components.
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments and under pressure in an independent setting.
