Senior Server Administration & Virtualization Architect

About the role

We are seeking a senior architect to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of our data‑center compute and virtualization platforms. The role covers Windows and RHEL environments, hyper‑converged infrastructure and enterprise storage, ensuring high availability and performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage virtualization solutions (VMware, Nutanix, Dell PowerFlex, OpenShift).
• Own lifecycle management of servers, hypervisors and HCI clusters, including upgrades, patching and capacity planning.
• Provide L2/L3 support for Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 and RHEL, handling incidents, performance tuning and disaster‑recovery operations.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, rack installation, boot‑drive configuration and hardware replacements.
• Coordinate VM migrations, snapshots, backups and compliance audits.
• Collaborate with network, storage, security and application teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions and support multi‑cloud strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise‑scale virtualization and compute infrastructure.
• Strong background in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Hands‑on experience with capacity planning, EOL management and hardware procurement.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional initiatives.
