Senior Project Manager – IT Projects

About the role

Nielsen is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead IT initiatives that drive media insights and client success. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk‑management strategies.
• Coordinate internal resources and third‑party vendors for flawless execution.
• Monitor progress, manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs, and report status to leadership.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives when applicable.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure compliance with best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably with application development or system migration projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and multitasking capability.
• Proven leadership skills to motivate and manage diverse project teams.
