Senior Officer – Fire & Safety

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Officer – Fire & Safety to lead fire safety initiatives across multiple project sites. You will develop policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a culture of safety for employees and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies in line with statutory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification related to fire and safety.
• Plan and conduct fire drills, safety training, and awareness programs.
• Inspect and maintain fire protection systems such as alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers, and hydrants.
• Lead investigations of fire incidents and near‑misses, implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate with fire departments, safety auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Supervise site safety officers and fire safety teams.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and compliance records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Fire & Safety, or Industrial Safety.
• Mandatory fire & safety diploma or certification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in fire and safety management, preferably in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
