Senior Medical Reviewer (Clinical Trials)

About the role

Join the Central Monitoring Unit at Novo Nordisk GBS in Bangalore as a Senior Medical Reviewer. You will provide medical oversight for clinical drug development, ensuring patient safety and high‑quality data across multiple trials.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical review of all trial subjects to ensure compliance with protocols, GCP, ICH guidelines, local regulations and SOPs.
• Collaborate closely with Data Managers, Trial Managers and Medical Specialists throughout trial conduct.
• Report review status according to project communication and blinding plans, and escalate medical issues promptly.
• Contribute to trial planning activities related to medical review.
• Clarify and resolve medical concerns and data inconsistencies with investigational sites.
• Present review findings to Medical Specialists to support decision‑making and document all activities in the sponsor TMF.
• Review and provide input on medical monitoring plans, displays and data listings to enable efficient review.

Required profile

• MBBS + MD degree with 2‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and clinical trial processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Analytical, result‑oriented mindset with the ability to manage complex tasks independently.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Ability to create presentations using PowerPoint.
