Senior Executive – Payments & Merchant Acquiring

About the role

Bajaj Finance Ltd. is expanding its payments portfolio into QR acquiring. The Senior Executive will build and lead a new merchant acquisition business in Hyderabad, hiring and managing a field team to drive QR, SB and POS deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and motivate Field Operations Staff (FOS) to achieve sales targets.
• Acquire merchants and drive QR, SB and POS/EDC deployments across the assigned territory.
• Develop distribution channels, map coverage and manage channel relationships.
• Ensure sales numbers, retailer payment reconciliation and store activation on a monthly basis.
• Collaborate with partners on sales promotions and maintain process rigor and controllership.

Required profile

• Graduation or MBA with 2‑6 years of relevant experience.
• Prior exposure to payments, FMCG or telecom prepaid sales.
• Experience handling merchant relationships and distribution management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and high energy for field work.
