Senior Automation Engineer – SAP S/4HANA & AI-driven Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain advanced automation solutions for SAP S/4HANA environments. The role focuses on leveraging AI‑driven workflows, LLM‑based assistants, and enterprise integration platforms to streamline application management and support processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP Joule Skills using Joule Studio for automated support tasks.
• Design end‑to‑end automation across SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Cloud ALM, Solution Manager and ServiceNow.
• Translate functional support requirements into scalable, secure automation workflows.
• Implement test automation and release pipelines within enterprise landscapes.
• Collaborate with IT service teams to align automation with ITIL incident, change, release, and testing processes.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience in application operations, AMS, or enterprise IT environments.
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA application management and support processes.
• Proven ability to build automation beyond simple scripting, covering complex workflows and system orchestration.
• Understanding of security, access, and compliance considerations in automation projects.
