Security Officer

About the role

Shilton Hospitality Pvt Ltd is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment across its hotel properties. The role involves protecting guests, employees, visitors and assets by monitoring premises, responding to incidents and supporting emergency procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of guest floors, public areas, parking zones and back‑of‑house facilities.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, fire alarm systems and other security equipment.
• Control access to restricted areas and verify identities of visitors, contractors and vendors.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, accidents, disturbances, medical incidents and fire alarms.
• Assist in evacuations and maintain a visible security presence to deter theft and vandalism.
• Investigate, document and report security incidents, accidents and unusual occurrences.
• Prepare daily security reports, maintain logs and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services.
• Safeguard hotel property, equipment, cash handling areas and guest belongings, and monitor loading/unloading activities.

Required profile

• Minimum PUC / Higher Secondary Education.
• 1–3 years of experience in hotel, hospitality, corporate or industrial security.
• Basic knowledge of fire safety, emergency procedures and first aid.
• Security training certification is an advantage.
